Welcome! I'm so glad you found my page My name is Hollie Stockdale. I am a mother, a nurse (RN/BSN), a breastfeeding advocate, and a big believer in sisterhood. Breastfeeding may be natural but it isn't always easy. Studies show early support and intervention help mothers meet their breastfeeding goals. Breastfeeding is a learned skill for you and your baby, and a key element in bonding and development for mother and child. I care deeply about the capacity of the act of breastfeeding to heal physically and emotionally. It promotes the well being of the mother and the child. I am excited to offer in home/virtual consultations, newborn latch assessment and basic newborn care, comprehensive first days home support, prenatal breastfeeding education, and support beyond the first months until toddler years for extended nursing. Any of these services can also be gifted to a mother in advance of the birth as well. I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve women and children in my new capacity as a certified lactation counselor. I am here for your journey from first latch to weaning, and everything in between
